| This fight is bigger than me. I am doing this for the entire music industry, says Blacface. |
You would recall that on the 18th of March, 2019, Blackface released a diss song titled "war", targeted at his former band mate, 2face and manager, Efe Omorogbe. Where he accused 2face of been gay, although he now claims it was a mere yab.
In a chat with Pulse Nigeria, on the 20th of March 2019, Blackface reestablish the fact that he is been owed of 50M for 2face allegedly stealing his song (African Queen), but that he has always been quite whenever he raises the issue and makes Nigerians to look at him like a bad person. Blackface also revealed that the song "Let somebody love you" was written by him, but 2face edited him name out and accredits Efe Omorogbe as co composer, thereby denying him of his royalties for the song, that he wants this removed too.
He also accused 2face and Efe Omorogbe of paying media aids to darken his musical name and denying him access of performing at any media platforms, that this two people are also up to something, and that they should speak out, he said.
How would you as a person feel if your intellectual property is been taken from you, and the person who stole it away from you, clearly shows no form of remorse for it, or denies you the lawful rights of the acclaimed property? If 2face is not innocent as is name is, then he should speak out, he said conclusively.
