| I am up and chopping this life ones more, Etinosa. |
The BOSS lady, Etinosa is up and better.
In a post in her Instagram handle, she revealed how people were shocked to see her rise up so early and be shinning, that the actually expected her to remain low, at least not to rise up so early. This she said in concern as she made her way to a cover of a magazine yesterday in Lagos where she was attending shows and granting interviews to people. To her, she will rise above her mistake rather than to remain in regret and allow depression to set in her life. Speaking about mistakes, the actor and comedian postulated four keys to rising up against mistakes;
1. Own your mess. Anytime you make a mistake, instead of blaming people around you, put the blame ontop yourself and own it. This will give you the lift of walking ahead of it.
2. Do not let some of the greatest weapons of failure - shame and fear keep you down. Mistakes are abound in everyone's life, to avoid mistakes, is to avoid been alive. Therefore whenever mistakes occur, we should not let shame or fear to keep us down in a closet, rather we should come out, embrace it, and live above it. This invariably means, not letting any feelings of low self esteem to hold you down.
3. Do not listen to that voice in your head or that acclaimed adviser "Nowamagbe" (Edo name given to a boy or girl) who constantly drums it into your ear that you have messed up and its the end of the road.
4. As casual as she suggested this might sound, but she said "Don't go and kill yourself", she puts in personal as "I cannot come and kill myself". While many people were expecting her to remain in the woods, and allow frustration wipe her away, the comedian said, she cannot go and kill herself, it has happened and she is now living above it. And she is still holding her title up, Chop this life gang.
She also revealed that due to recent events in her life, she has noticed that many people are actually looking up to her from young girls to depressed people, and she urges them to learn from her "fall" and calls for them to stand strong like her and be like the "Queens" that they are.
She ends her piece on a very strong proverbial note;
The proof of a strong man is not the absence of wounds, but exactly how he heals and rises for the next battle. That, the absence of wounds only shows a child who has never been in battle.
Etinosa faced a strong battle, she has come out of it gallantly, and urges every lady and anybody looking up to her to do exactly so when the case arises
